Zendaya and Tom Holland have celebrated their marriage in characteristically private fashion, gathering close friends and family at an exclusive countryside estate in England months after quietly tying the knot.

The Hollywood couple reportedly hosted the intimate celebration at Beaverbrook Hotel in Surrey, England, on Tuesday. Located about 15 miles from where Holland grew up in southwest London, the sprawling luxury estate offered the pair a secluded setting away from the intense attention that has surrounded their relationship for years.

Privacy appeared to be the priority throughout the event. Hotel staff were reportedly required to sign nondisclosure agreements, while guests and employees were not permitted to keep their mobile phones during the celebration. The restrictions were intended to prevent photographs and private details from appearing online.

Holland, 30, and Zendaya, 29, reportedly spent more than $670,000 to secure the entire estate for the occasion, giving their guests exclusive access to the property and allowing the couple to celebrate without the usual pressures surrounding a high profile celebrity wedding.

The gathering comes months after Zendaya's longtime stylist and close friend Law Roach revealed that the pair had already married privately. Speaking at the SAG Awards in March, Roach confirmed that the wedding had taken place, surprising fans who had been waiting for an official announcement from the notoriously private couple.

Speculation about their marriage had already been growing after Zendaya was photographed wearing a wedding band instead of the five carat diamond engagement ring she debuted at the Golden Globes in January 2025.

Neither Zendaya nor Holland has offered a traditional public announcement about their marriage. Instead, both have occasionally provided subtle clues.

Holland appeared to acknowledge the marriage during an interview in June when he was asked whether he needed to warn his relatives about AI generated photographs falsely depicting his wedding to Zendaya. His simple response suggested his family already knew the images were fake because they had attended the real event.

Zendaya offered another playful hint while promoting "Spider-Man: Brand New Day" in Mexico. When a fan jokingly proposed marriage to her, the actress responded that he was already too late.

Their decision to protect such an important milestone reflects how the couple has managed their relationship from the beginning.

Zendaya and Holland met while working together on "Spider-Man: Homecoming." Romance speculation followed almost immediately, but both actors spent years maintaining that they were simply close friends.

That changed in July 2021 when they were photographed kissing inside a car in Los Angeles. Holland made their relationship Instagram official several months later with a birthday tribute to Zendaya featuring a behind the scenes photograph from the Spider-Man set.

Their engagement became public in January 2025 after Zendaya appeared at the Golden Globes wearing a large diamond ring. Reports later suggested Holland had proposed privately during the holiday season.

Even after becoming one of Hollywood's most recognizable couples, the two have consistently avoided turning their relationship into a public spectacle. Their Surrey celebration appears to have followed the same philosophy, favoring family, friends and privacy over a heavily publicized celebrity ceremony.

For Zendaya and Holland, the gathering represented a rare opportunity to celebrate their marriage on their own terms. After years of navigating global fame together, their carefully guarded wedding celebration offered something increasingly difficult for two of Hollywood's biggest stars to achieve: a major personal moment that largely belonged only to them.
