Vivian Jenna Wilson, the 21-year-old daughter of tech mogul Elon Musk and author Justine Musk, is stepping into the spotlight in a bold and inspiring way. Wilson, a transgender woman and rising voice in LGBTQ+ advocacy, is set to make her drag debut on June 13, 2025, in a high-profile environmental drag show hosted by Pattie Gonia in Los Angeles. The show, titled "Save Her!", blends drag performance with climate activism, aiming to raise awareness about environmental destruction and inspire urgent action.

The announcement stirred interest across the internet when Wilson reposted a promotional flyer on her Instagram story with the caption, “AHHHH I'm so excited,” confirming her participation. The event, scheduled to take place at The Bellwether in Los Angeles, will feature a lineup of drag performers who combine glamour, satire, and political messaging to highlight urgent climate issues. Pattie Gonia, known for eco-conscious drag and outdoor advocacy, created "Save Her!" as a unique artistic project to defend the environment through performance and community engagement.

Vivian Jenna Wilson’s appearance is especially meaningful, given her history of public estrangement from her father, Elon Musk. After coming out as transgender in 2020, Wilson legally changed her name in 2022, choosing to drop her father’s surname and adopt her mother’s last name. In legal filings, she explained her decision as a desire “not to be related to my biological father in any way, shape or form.” Her transition sparked waves of support from LGBTQ+ communities, though Musk's public statements on gender identity have drawn sharp criticism.

Since then, Wilson has become more publicly visible and involved in causes she believes in. Earlier this year, she collaborated with Wildfang, a queer-owned fashion brand, for their “Say My Name” campaign. The initiative celebrated trans identities and featured Wilson modeling and co-designing a limited-edition shirt that read, “Existing Shouldn’t Be Revolutionary.” Proceeds from the campaign were donated to The Trevor Project, an organization dedicated to suicide prevention among LGBTQ+ youth.

Her upcoming drag performance marks a personal and professional turning point. It’s not just a debut on stage, but also a public declaration of her voice and purpose. With "Save Her!", Wilson is aligning herself with a growing number of artists and activists who are merging art and advocacy to spark cultural change.

In addition to drag, Wilson has expressed interest in modeling, fashion, and environmental justice. Friends close to her say she’s been exploring ways to merge her interests and continue building an independent identity. Her appearance in "Save Her!" embodies all those elements: theatrical expression, advocacy, and unapologetic selfhood.

Tickets for "Save Her!" are currently available online, and the event is expected to draw a diverse and passionate crowd. With Wilson’s participation, it also marks a symbolic moment in the fight for both LGBTQ+ rights and environmental consciousness, showing that the next generation is ready to take the stage for the planet and for themselves.
