In a recent appearance on the “In Your Dreams” podcast, the model and entrepreneur Hailey Bieber shared intimate reflections on motherhood and revealed that she and husband Justin Bieber are looking toward expanding their family. According to the E! Online interview, Hailey confirmed that she “knows I want more than one” child following the birth of their son Jack Blues in August 2024.
From the outset Hailey has spoken openly about her desire to become a mother. On the podcast she conveyed that she “always knew I wanted to be a mom, though. Since I was a little kid I always envisioned myself having kids.” But she also acknowledged the emotional weight of stepping into parenthood at age 27. “I do think it felt a little daunting,” she admitted, adding that she had fears about what to expect, but that once their son arrived the daily process of parenting became about learning one day at a time.
The Rhode Beauty founder further described her parenting style as “super, super, super hands-on” with Jack, but she emphasised that support is essential: “I do have help, I have full-time help and I’m super not ashamed to say that,” she explained. “I would never shy away from talking about that because I wouldn’t be able to have my career and do the things that I do without the help, and I’m really grateful for that.” She added that when their son isn’t with her, “he’s with his dad” and that he’s always surrounded by family or godparents.
While Hailey made it clear she’s open to having more children, she also emphasised that she is “not in a rush” about expanding their family. She and Justin appear to be aligning on the idea that their son should have siblings, noting that Justin was an only child himself and that this likely factors into their family planning conversations.
In terms of lifestyle and upbringing, Hailey shared that the Biebers hope for Jack to grow up in a world of travel and varied experiences: “I think we’re such travellers as a family and we were that way before we had him. So I think I just want him to grow up travelling which is honestly how I grew up and I love that. I learned so much.”
Hailey’s comments mark a nuanced chapter in the couple’s life following years of public speculation about if and when they would become parents. Their journey underscores the blend of private ambition and public interest that often accompanies celebrity life. For Hailey, motherhood has become a central role, and her desire to build a larger family reflects both personal longing and thoughtful planning.
At the same time, her candid remarks about needing help and acknowledging the challenges of balancing career, parenting and public life speak to a broader conversation about modern parenthood especially among high-profile figures. The transparency with which she addressed both the ambition to have more children and the logistical realities of doing so invites a more grounded understanding of family life in the spotlight.
As they navigate parenthood, Hailey and Justin are clearly defining their path on their own terms: embracing their roles as parents, planning for future children in a measured way, and committing to a support network that allows Hailey to maintain her entrepreneurial and creative work while also being present for her son. Their willingness to speak openly about both desire and challenge offers a glimpse into the more personal side of celebrity life.
