Cardi B, the Grammy-winning rapper, has made it clear that despite her split from Offset she is open to marriage again. In a September 16, 2025 appearance on Today with Jenna & Friends, the 32-year-old called herself a “hopeless romantic” and said “Yeah. I would get married again. I believe in love.”
She’s currently dating NFL star Stefon Diggs and has spoken warmly about their relationship. She described their connection as “sparkling” and joked that it feels like the Fourth of July when asked if the sparks were flying. Cardi shared that they met through mutual friends and praised his disciplined lifestyle as an inspiration to her own.
While speaking on the program Cardi also discussed how Diggs has changed her perspective. She mentioned that his rigid routine knowing when to rest, how to prepare, and staying focused has shown her a different way to organize life. She laughed about being a football fan now and watching games from home, cheering him on. Meanwhile she’s been busy preparing her upcoming album Am I the Drama?, which is set to be released on September 19, 2025.
Offset, Cardi B’s ex-husband, has expressed a very different view. He has said he is “one and done” when it comes to marriage, noting that having had three children and being married once feels like a completed chapter to him.
Cardi and Offset were married in 2017 and separated in July 2024 after six years together. They share three children: Kulture, Wave, and Blossom. Cardi also revealed that their divorce filing was not based on rumors of infidelity, but rather because the relationship had been strained for a long time.
Even with the public split Cardi B’s hope in love has not dimmed. She emphasized that being romantic is part of who she is and that she still believes in love. She compared the excitement in her current relationship with Diggs to fireworks.
Her openness about her feelings comes at a time when Cardi’s public persona has been intertwined with her personal life. The release of a new album, her relationship with Diggs, the challenges of co-parenting with Offset and managing public scrutiny are all part of her current reality.
Cardi also mentioned that for now she hasn’t attended one of Stefon Diggs’s football games in person, in part because she is focused on finishing her album project. But she promised that once the album drops she intends to go to every game.
At the heart of her message is a combination of realism and optimism. She recognizes that relationships, breakups, public life and motherhood are messy but says none of that stops her believing in second chances, love, and laughter.
